Where the Night Belongs to Code

There's something about the world being asleep that makes your thoughts feel louder. That's exactly how it felt on the night of September 13th. We weren't there for a regular lecture; it was an overnight session where we explored the world of artificial intelligence until the next morning. The energy in the room was amazing, a mix of late-night coffee, curiosity, and excitement. It felt less like a workshop and more like we were discovering something important while the rest of the world was asleep. We started by diving into Large Language Models. Instead of only discussing what AI can do, we focused on how it actually works. A big part of the night was spent understanding transformer architecture, which is the foundation behind tools like LLMs. It was challenging at times, but also really rewarding. For me, one of the best parts of the session was finally understanding some of the logic behind the so-called "black box" of AI and seeing how these tools actually function. As it got later into the night, the discussion shifted from how AI works to where it is headed. Listening to someone with real industry experience gave us a much more practical perspective. We learned about the latest trends in technology and heard honest insights about how AI might shape our future careers. It wasn't just theoretical; it was useful advice about what we should start doing now if we want to keep up with the changes happening around us. The Q&A session turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the whole experience. Since it was so late, people seemed more open and genuine, and the questions were thoughtful and interesting. It felt less like a classroom discussion and more like a real conversation or mentorship session. By the time everything ended and we thanked the speaker, the sun still hadn't come up, but I felt like I was leaving with a much clearer understanding of something that had once seemed confusing. The lost sleep was completely worth it.
