SRM Run 6.0 supported the cause of a healthier virtue and happier life, the tagline “Health. Happiness. Harmony.” promoted physical and mental wellbeing of every individual, with a participation of 1741 runners, the run traced a track of 5.1 Km encompassing the campus

Unsung heroes is an initiative taken by Team Aaruush to convey our token of gratitude for all the heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes for the betterment of the people around them with their untiring spirit and strenuous efforts that ensure the uninterrupted and planned workflow of our institution. A wide range of fun-filled competitions, games and mini games are organized!

Wednesday Speaks is an Initiative taken by Team Aaruush where our esteemed faculty members impart out-of-the-box knowledge about fascinating subjects. It is a series of sessions between SRMIST’s renowned Professors and the student group with the goal to bring together multiple perspectives and educate students in multiple disciplines.

Glass bottles were utilized at each event, and all event posters were recycled by the Deco & Arts Committee after the event. As a crowdsourced one-stop information tracker, the multidisciplinary Tech Team of Aaruush, Team Envision, released the Near You web application, providing a platform for tracking open markets and shops that are specific to an area. While the Covid-19 pandemic struck the nation and forced people indoors, this app assisted the general public in locating local markets and connecting with nearby suppliers to procure necessities.

Team Envision, in partnership with Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Club SRM and in conjunction with the Department of Psychiatry, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Center, created Here For You, an app that allows users to examine their mental health and get treatment from specialists. The journey of spreading awareness on Mental Health begins with voicing one’s own personal experiences, which leads to normalizing a lot of terms and spectrums that one might be uncomfortable facing initially.

Mindfulness is a Team Aaruush mental health awareness initiative that featured speakers from various walks of life. It consisted of engaging and intensive courses centered on students' mental health during times of uncertainty.We live in a world that’s increasing its pace exponentially, in midst of that, it becomes difficult for one to reflect on their mental health and cope. Sessions like these provide a moment to introspect and try to come out with a more aware, empathetic and kinder version of ourselves

To bridge the gap between technological advancements and social needs,Team Aaruush came up with a platform, called the ‘Technical Summit (T-Summit)’. The two days of the conclave welcomes solution-seeking youth from premier institutions across the country to deliberate discussions on issues concerning the nation's development and progress, amidst renowned dignitaries. It is a unique platform where ideas find their way to execution by means of innovative and revolutionary thinking.

An initiative that commemorates on the Republic day, Aaruush salutes is a round table conference that aims to collaborate with several NCC segments in order to appreciate their contribution and dedication to the nation over the years. This conclave provides insight into the contribution of different defense forces towards national security and integrity.

The campaign Liter of Light was created by Team Aaruush in order to give back to society. The initiative entailed the installation of hassle-free day-lights in the homes of the underprivileged. These lights provide space for underprivileged to study, cook and help with everyday chores, as well represents the bright scope of hope!
