X-Play (aka X-zone Play) is a cutting-edge game creation event where developers exhibit their creativity and skill. Participants engage in two exciting stages: Analyze and GameHive.
During Analyze, creators reveal their concepts through engaging presentations, while GameHive sees a surge of captivating game submissions. Only the most innovative and exceptional entries will emerge victorious through the judges' assessments. This event allows industry leaders or judges to address the game development industry's key challenges as problem statements and ask for solutions.
Structure
This multi-round online event will consist of the following:

Round 1: Analyze
Participants present their game ideas through PowerPoint presentations.
Presentations are evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and market potential.
Feedback is provided to refine ideas before advancing to the next stage.

Round 2: GameHive
Teams transform their concepts from Round 1 into fully realised prototypes.
Completed prototypes are evaluated based on creativity, innovation, and execution.
Judges select the most outstanding entries.

Tracks:

FPS: Challenges players to navigate intense 3D landscapes, testing reflexes and strategy in multiplayer showdowns.
Arcade: Blends skill and luck in interactive challenges perfect for social settings.
Role-Playing: Immerses players in adventures where every choice shapes a rich narrative.
Simulations: Offers lifelike experiences for insight, exploration, and enjoyment.
Action: Bring action platformers to life with intense stories and combat.
Story-based: Games that communicate intense stories and evoke strong emotions.
Open Track: Allows developers to explore a wide range of creative ideas without specific themes.
