We bring to you X-PLAY, a game development platform that will put your game Dev expertise to the test.
So Lock your aims, put your headsets on, call up your squad and get your reaction times to its absolute peak performance and bring home the victory and gain the honour of calling yourselves the reigning Game Dev Champions.
Rules
Team size: 1-3
The game has to be new.
Participants are allowed to rely on their preferred game engines (Unreal, XNA, Unity 3D), devkits and libraries. The games should run on one of the following platforms (Windows and Android supportable devices).
Participants are allowed to choose any one topic out of the following
FPS
Arcade
Role Playing
Simulations.
Participants will be asked to present a timeline of the development.
The Game must be functional. This implies that reviewers are able to play the game or at least a part of the game in order to have a meaningful play experience. However, a fully finished game is not required; a playable demo or demo level is sufficient.
Paper prototypes or non-digital games are not acceptable.
The maximum size of the game is 110 MB. If your game submission is large and requires more space, instead of submitting the game itself, submit a text document containing a URL that can be used to download the game, e.g., using a file sharing service such as Google Drive, sDropbox or OneDrive.
Round 1 submission date: 17th September, 2023
Participants will be asked to submit a PPT on the day of round 1 submission mentioning the below contents in it:
Idea relevancy to the current gaming scenario.
How is your game Unique from others?
Platform used.
Video and Sound engine used.
Round 2 submission date: 26th September, 2023 (Day 16)
Participants should also work according to the following judging criteria which sums up to a total of 100 :

Participants can vote for maximum of top 5 games of their choice only
28th September 2023 (Day 18) will be the valedictory and winners announcement
