- AboutMain Quiz is the legacy flagship event of Aaruush, conducted under the Fundaz domain since 2009.
It is a three-day national-level intellectual showdown that attracts some of the brightest student minds across disciplines.
The competition tests not only general knowledge but also perception, strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking, with dynamic rounds that combine rapid-fire questioning, sensory tasks, and high-stakes gameplay.
Over the years, the Main Quiz has featured eminent personalities such as Chetan Bhagat, Rajat Kapoor, and Major Chandrakant Nair as guests. - StructureMain Quiz consists of three progressive rounds across three days, each testing knowledge, reflexes, logic, and strategic thinking.
Round 1 – Do Not Blink! (Day 1)
- Part 1: Rapid Fire – Participants answer 15 timed questions from three topics (chosen, allocated, and lucky draw).
- Part 2: Risk It All – Teams wager their points on additional questions, doubling or losing points based on accuracy.
Round 2 – Test Your Senses (Day 2)
- Face Recognition Challenge – Identify faces from altered/mixed visuals.
- Relation Finder Challenge – Find links between 4 images/situations/clues.
- Audio Round – Identify quotes/speeches and their contexts.
- Fill in the Blanks – Clue-based completion with graded scoring.
Round 3 – The Breakpoint (Day 3)
A high-stakes finale with three sub-rounds:
- Majority Rules – Guess the most popular crowd survey answers (Family Feud style).
- Face-Off – Head-to-head buzzer duels between selected participants.
- Block & Steal – Teams use accumulated points as currency to bet, block, or steal answers.

Day 3 – Valedictory Ceremony & Winner Announcement - Rules1. Teams must consist of 1–4 members only.
2. Walk-in registrations will be allowed on Day-1.
3. Each round has its own specific scoring pattern; teams must follow them precisely.
4. Use of unfair means (external help, devices, misconduct) will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. The decision of the quizmaster/judges is final and binding.
6. Teams must be present at the venue on time; late arrivals may be disqualified.
7. In case of ties, additional tie-breaker questions will be asked.
8. The organizing team reserves the right to make adjustments to ensure fair play.

Q1. Who can participate?
Ans. Any high school or college student with an interest in quizzing and knowledge challenges.
Q2. What topics will the quiz cover?
Ans. A wide range including Science, Maths, History, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
Q3. What is the prize pool?
Ans. The total prize money is ₹40,000 along with certificates.
Q4. Will certificates be given?
Ans. Yes, all participants will receive certificates of participation.
Q5. Is it offline or online?
Ans. The event will be conducted offline at Ramachandran Hall, SRMIST.
Q6. Who will host the rounds?
Ans. First 2 rounds will be hosted by the conducting team while the final round will have an external quizmaster for hosting.
