Hybrid Hack
Shape the future of sustainable power through intelligent hybrid energy solutions at Hybrid Hack!

- About
Hybrid Hack is a dynamic competition that challenges participants to design and simulate Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) capable of delivering reliable and sustainable power under varying operating conditions.
By integrating renewable energy sources, storage technologies, and intelligent energy management strategies, participants will develop innovative solutions that address modern energy challenges.
The event highlights the potential of clean energy technologies while encouraging technical creativity, analytical thinking, and sustainable innovation.
- Structure
Round 1
The competition begins with the release of the problem statement, where participants are presented with a critical power system challenge requiring an innovative solution. Teams must analyse the given scenario, design a suitable Hybrid Renewable Energy System, and submit a detailed presentation outlining their concept, energy selection, system architecture, feasibility, and implementation approach. Following evaluation, the results of Round 1 will be announced, and the most promising teams will advance to the next stage of the competition.Round 2
Shortlisted teams will proceed to the simulation phase, where they are required to develop and validate their proposed Hybrid Renewable Energy System using appropriate simulation tools. Participants must demonstrate system performance, efficiency, optimisation strategies, and overall feasibility through simulation outputs and supporting documentation. Upon completion of the evaluation process, the results of Round 2 will be declared, and the top-performing teams will qualify for the final round.Round 3
The final stage of the competition focuses on business model pitching, where teams present their Hybrid Renewable Energy System as a practical and scalable solution before a panel of judges. Participants will showcase the technical feasibility, implementation strategy, market potential, and impact of their solution through a comprehensive final presentation. The event concludes with the winner announcement, recognising the teams that have demonstrated exceptional innovation, technical excellence, and real-world applicability in addressing contemporary energy challenges. - Timeline22nd June 2026 to 10th July 2026
