Colosseum is a three-day literary festival designed to celebrate and promote literature, movies, and theatre. Hosted at SRMIST, this event will feature a range of creative activities such as open mics, storytelling sessions, book reviews, and film trivia competitions. It provides a platform for students to showcase their passion, engage with peers, and learn from industry professionals through interactive workshops.

With interactive events like ‘Story Weave’ and ‘Movie Plot Mashup’, the Colosseum offers a unique opportunity for artistic exploration. With ‘Blind Date with a Book’ offering a new window for genre exploration and literature exposure, participants can expect a lively atmosphere, exciting prizes, and recognition for their creative contributions.
Structure
The three-day event kicks off with captivating performances at Centre Stage. Day two brings the entertaining competitions such as Pretentious Book Reviews, Reality Check, Story Weave, Who’s My Character and the imaginative Movie Plot Mashup. The final day concludes with Anchor Away, an opportunity to enhance your public speaking skills. From start to finish, Colosseum provides a chance to explore different genres of literature with the 3-day Blind Date With a Book event.
